Ms. Amira Al Hashimi
Founder & Head of Education
Amira holds a Master's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Sharjah and has over 14 years of experience in Abu Dhabi's education sector. She founded Little Horizon with a vision to create a daycare where every child is known by name and nurtured as an individual. She is a certified Montessori practitioner and a passionate advocate for bilingual early learning.
Ms. Sophie Chambers
Lead Educator – Bright Futures (Ages 4–5)
Sophie is a British-qualified teacher with a PGCE in Early Years Education from the University of Exeter and seven years of experience in premium nurseries across London and Abu Dhabi. Her Bright Futures classroom is a vibrant, structured environment where children genuinely fall in love with reading and numbers. Parents consistently describe Sophie as 'the teacher every child deserves.'
Ms. Rania Khalil
Lead Educator – Pre-KG (Ages 3–4)
Rania is a Lebanese-born educator with a Bachelor's in Child Development and eight years of experience in early childhood settings across the GCC. She is deeply passionate about creative learning — her classroom walls are always covered in children's art, science experiments, and collaborative projects. Rania is also our lead Arabic language educator across all age groups.
Ms. Priya Nair
Lead Educator – Early Learners (Ages 2–3)
Priya brings warmth, patience, and extraordinary creativity to her role with our youngest independent learners. A trained Montessori educator from Kerala, India, Priya has spent six years in Abu Dhabi nurseries and is renowned for her ability to turn any moment into a learning opportunity. She communicates daily with parents in both English and Hindi.
Ms. Dana Al Mazrouei
Lead Educator – Infants & Toddlers (Ages 1–2)
Dana is an Emirati educator with a deep commitment to gentle, attachment-based care for the youngest children. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education and a Level 3 certification in Infant Mental Health. Her calm, nurturing presence makes her classroom a sanctuary for toddlers making their first brave steps away from home.
Mr. James Okafor
Operations & Family Liaison Manager
James ensures Little Horizon runs smoothly behind the scenes — from facility maintenance to parent communications, event coordination to health and safety compliance. With a background in hospitality management, James brings a service-first mindset that parents consistently praise. He is the first person you'll meet on your tour and the one who makes sure no question goes unanswered.
